Next, visit Playa Girón, known for its historical significance during the 1961 Bay of Pigs invasion. The day ends in Cienfuegos, known as the “Pearl of the South,” famous for its neoclassical architecture

Days 7 & 8: El Nicho Waterfalls and Trinidad

Today, the journey continues from Cienfuegos to the charming colonial city of Trinidad. Along the way, you can choose to visit El Nicho Waterfalls, a natural paradise featuring eco-trails and crystal-clear natural pools perfect for a refreshing swim. Day 1: Welcome to Havana

Upon your arrival at Havana Airport, you will be greeted and transferred by car to your accommodation in a private home (bed & breakfast). Our lodging options are located in the most central and advantageous areas, such as Vedado or Old Havana. From the very first moment, you will notice characteristic elements of Cuba, including the abundance of classic cars and the presence of Cuban Revolution propaganda on large billboards along the streets. Welcome to Havana!

2 & 3 Havana

Day 2: Old Havana City Tour

On the second day, you will enjoy a two-hour tour in a classic car through Havana, exploring both the historic Old Havana and the vibrant modern area. During this tour, you will visit iconic squares and admire the colonial architecture that defines the city. After the ride, you can continue exploring Old Havana on your own, where you’ll find numerous restaurants and cafés, some featuring live music. Don’t forget to visit the historic bars La Bodeguita del Medio and El Floridita, frequented by Ernest Hemingway and famous for their signature cocktails, the Mojito and the Daiquirí, respectively.

4 Viñales

At 8:00 AM, you will depart for Viñales. Your first stop will be a tobacco plantation, where you will learn about the cultivation process. Next, you will enjoy a two-hour horseback ride through the Viñales Valley (€15 per person, payable on-site). Lunch at a local restaurant is included. Afterward, you will explore the Cueva del Indio (entrance fee not included). Before returning to Havana, you will stop at Los Jazmines viewpoint to take in the breathtaking panoramic views of the valley

5 Havana

Enjoy this enchanting city to the fullest! Consider visiting the National Museum of Fine Arts, which houses an extensive collection of Cuban and international art. Another option is to explore El Morro Castle and San Carlos de la Cabaña Fortress, located on the other side of Havana Bay. Keep in mind that every night at La Cabaña Fortress, the traditional 9 PM Cannon Ceremony takes place—a historical reenactment dating back to the 18th century, when a cannon shot marked the closing of the city’s protective walls. 6 Cienfuegos

The journey from Havana to Cienfuegos begins at 8 a.m., with a visit to the Crocodile Breeding Farm in Zapata Swamp. Along the way, you’ll explore scenic coastal spots and visit the Cueva de los Peces, a beautiful cenote ideal for snorkeling. There’s also the option to stop at the Playa Girón Battle Museum, which showcases historical events from the Bay of Pigs invasion. Arrival in Cienfuegos is expected in the afternoon

7 & 8 Trinidad

During the journey from Cienfuegos to Trinidad, there is the option to take an optional excursion to the El Nicho Waterfalls, considered one of Cuba’s natural wonders. This activity is carried out in specially adapted vehicles designed for mountain routes, different from the usual vehicle accompanying the group. If you choose not to participate in this excursion, the driver will take you directly from Cienfuegos to Trinidad

9  Varadero

Varadero, the final destination of your “Cuba in 12 Days” tour, offers 22 kilometers of white sandy beaches and turquoise waters. This Caribbean paradise, known as Playa Azul, is internationally recognized for its beauty. Its extensive hotel infrastructure ensures a comfortable stay before your departure. Additionally, its lush vegetation and natural attractions, such as caves and cliffs, enhance the overall experience

Day 12: Transfer to the Airport

You will be picked up at your private accommodation for a transfer by car to the airport
